Skin Saviours | Exam Season

Hey everyone :)

As most of you probably know, it's exam season here in the UK - and my skin is really paying the price. I've been under a lot of stress recently and my skin has gone completely down the drain. So, I've been on the hunt for some products that will help calm it down and get it under control before Prom.

Please remember that I'm not a skincare expert and these products may work really well for me, but everyone has a different skin type that reacts differently to different products and ingredients.

First up is this B. Pure Micellar Water. There's been a lot of hype surrounding Bioderma for the last few years, and although I've never tried that particular product, this is a great alternative if you're unable to get you're hands on the pricier French version.

It's basically a cleansing water that claims to 'dissolve impurities in a single sweep, no water required'. I use it before I usually use it before I put on my makeup, but it's ideal for taking off makeup aswell. It's very gentle, but really gets rid of the dirt and oil on your face. It doesn't have a particular scent, which I quite like, and the packaging is simple but looks nice on my bathroom counter.

I would definitely recommend this for all skin types, especially when it's only £4.99.

Next is another product from the B. range. I've been looking for a more gentle solution to a face scrub, and this B. Refined Exfoliating Cleanser is the perfect for my sensitive and dry skin.

Think of it as the middle ground between a facial scrub and a cleanser - it helps get rid of dry, flaky skin and blackheads, but also leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh without being too harsh. I really love this stuff and I've definitely noticed a difference with my skin.

I've made it a mission to put on a facial mask at least once a week, and it's definitely helped clear up my complexion. One of my all time favourites is this Good Things Five Minute Facial Mask. I have the avocado and goji berry version which smells amazing.

As you can see, there is a lot of information about the ingredients and many, many claims on the back of the product. But, I find that this mask is great for giving dull, run down skin a good boost and keep blemishes at bay. My favourite thing about it is that you only need to leave it on for five minutes - the less time I have to spend running away from my family trying to take photos of my 'alien' face, the better.

The Bobbi Brown Corrector isn't a skincare product, but it's definitely been a saviour over the last few weeks. I've had really bad dark circles lately due to lack of sleep but this stuff is amazing for covering it all up. I've done a more in depth review of this in my last post, which you can read here, but long story short, I love it.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Please remember to follow this blog for more and say hello in the comments.
