Hello everyone :)
Now I may be a little late on the bandwagon with this one (I'm vary cautious when it comes to trying foundations), but I recently bought the Revlon Colourstay Foundation... And it's seriously good stuff. It might even be holy grail material (gasp).
As I've mentioned before, I have dry and sensitive skin which is a nightmare to take care of during the winter months, so I love the fact that they've got two formulas available - Normal/Dry Skin and Normal/Oily Skin.
I've been on the hunt for a more full coverage foundation for a while now but was worried that the extra coverage would highlight my dry patches and look a bit 'cakey'. But when I tried this I was blown away - it evens skin tone and provides a good medium coverage but still manages to look natural. And although I have dry skin I still get a bit shiny on my t-zone throughout the day, but this stuff stays put and manages to keep me relatively matte.
Another thing I was more than happy with was the shade range; I've finally managed to find a drugstore foundation that matches my fair skin tone (yes!). Even my Bourjois Healthy Mix didn't quite suit me, but this foundation was made for my cool toned skin.
The only thing I'm not so impressed with is the packaging. No pump - sigh. When you need to get ready in under 15 minutes the lack of a pump is a real pain in the backside, it just gets everywhere. But it's still a great product so I will continue to use it and enjoy it.
So if you have dry, pale skin but a small budget, this may be the one for you. It's not the cheapest drugstore foundation at £12.49, but it's definitely up there with high end brands in terms of quality and lasting power.
