Hello everyone :)
My Mum recently got back from a two month visit to Tasmania for work, and whilst she was there she picked up a few Australian beauty bits for me to try - not going to lie, I was pretty ecstatic. So, expect a few Tasmania-style reviews coming your way this week (especially as my new camera is arriving tomorrow - eek!)
Fan-girling aside, let's get on to my favourite of the bunch. Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment has caused quite a stir in the beauty world before, and now I've got my hands on it I can understand why. It's basically a multipurpose ointment/balm (think vaseline but less greasy) that can be used on dry or chapped skin, burns, insect bites, nappy rash, you name it.
Having being blessed with dry skin, I really suffer during these colder months and this stuff has become my holy grail. I use it as a lipbalm during the day and then before I go to bed I apply a small amount to the dry patches on my face - it works wonders. Even after one night my skin felt smoother and makeup was so much easier to apply. I think I'm in love.
Now let's talk ingredients. I have to be honest, when I saw 'fermented fruit' on the packaging I wasn't exactly enthralled. It's not the most glamorous product, but the natural ingredents have great benefits for your skin and I love reading the stories behind the whole Lucas' Pawpaw Remedies range. Click here if you fancy a nose..
The best thing about this stuff? It's only $9.95 - roughly £7. If you're outside of Australia, you can buy it online here.
I hope you enjoyed this first little Aussie review - expect another one within the next few days :)
