MUA Ever After Matte Palette | Review


Hello everyone :)

I've recently developed an obsession for matte eyeshadows. They're great for simple everyday looks, smokey eyes and can also double up as contour shades. To aid my obsession, I found an amazingly affordable palette that delivers 10 neutral matte shades for just £4 - the MUA Ever After Matte Palette.



The palette contains 10 shades that hit every mark - a highlight shade, base shade, several crease shades, a pop of colour and a black. You can literally create any look with this, and although the turquoise green isn't something I'd usually go for, it's actually quite flattering.


If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know that MUA are easily my favourite drugstore brand when it comes to eyeshadow. They're buttery soft, well pigmented and such great quality for the price. These shadows are no exception.


As you can see from the picture the pigmentation is amazing for just £4 - that's 40p per shadow! I couldn't get swatches of the upper row as they just blended in with my skin tone (pale girl problems).

So, as you can probably tell, I highly rate this palette and would definitely recommend if you're looking for some more affordable alternatives. MUA are a great UK brand so I'd check them out if you haven't already :)
