Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer | Review

Hello everyone :)

I'm back with a review of one of my new favourite 'drugstore' concealers (how very American of me). It's the Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer - which is basically the concealer version of my holy grail Healthy Mix Foundation. Of course I was going to pick it up.

I have been on a quest for a holy grail concealer for over a year now, and I happen to be quite picky. I need (want) medium coverage, a shade that isn't yellow and brightening effects. Not much, really..

Although I like the brightening effects and the dewy finish that this gives, it's just not up to scratch. The formula is rather liquidy which means it can be difficult to blend under the eye without applying too much. The coverage isn't amazing but I do like the packaging as you're less likely to waste product.

As you can see in the photo above, it's much too yellow toned for my pale skin. It's a shame that this doesn't live up to the much loved foundation version, but I do like using this on my cheekbones as a subtle highlighter during the day. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend. But, at £7.99 you can't really complain.

And so my quest continues. I'm off to Cardiff this weekend on the hunt for some more makeup to review for you all, but I need some help. Shall I try out the MAC Studio Finish Concealer or the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer? I need opinions!

Amy x
