My Spring Picks #2 | Lips

Hey everyone :)

If you don't know already, I've been doing a little 'My Spring Picks' series on this blog, and if you missed part #1 you can read it here.

Anyway, for part #2 I'm going to be talking about my favourite lip products for Spring. I hope you enjoy!

First up is this Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial. These lip lacquers have had a lot of hype surrounding them since their release earlier this January - and I can definitely see why! They are like a liquid lipstick; amazingly pigmented, easy to apply, long lasting and beautiful on the lips.

This shade is a dusty pink that comes out slightly lighter on camera, but it's actually a medium pink. I love these and think they are perfect for day and night. There are a range of different colours so go check them out if you haven't already :)

Next is one of my favourite underdog products. It's the Vaseline Rosy Lips Lip Therapy. I'm the kind of person that you'll never see without a lip balm in my pocket, and this one has been in my possession for nearly a year. As with all Vaseline lip balms, it really moisturises chapped lips after the dreaded winter months. But, the special thing about this lip balm is it's finish.

It's so shiny that it appears almost like a gloss, and has a slight pinky tint to it. It's so quick and easy to apply in the morning and actually has good lasting power. This has become a firm favourite for me all year round.

My next pick is more of an evening lip colour; it's Charged Cherry by Avon. As suggested in the name, it's a rich cherry with silvery shimmer running through it. It's quite sheer at first but you can layer it to make it more opaque. I love this lipstick as it's very moisturising and has a beautiful finish. The only downside is the lasting power.. it's not that great. But I don't mind reapplying every now and then.

Last is my well loved Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie. I won't go on too much about this as I've already done a full review here.

But, basically, it's a sheer, lip balm/lipstick that's super moisturising and easy to apply. This shade is a pinky, berry, shimmery colour that goes really well with my pale skin. This is definitely a staple for me this spring.

^ Here are all of the swatches together for you! :)
