Wearable Blue Eyes - S/S13 Trend

Hey everyone :)

One of the biggest beauty trends for this summer is blue eyes. Blue shadow, mascara, liner - you name it. I know first hand that blue is hard to pull of without looking like a drag queen, so I did some experimenting and came up with a wearable yet fun look :)






I started off with just a simple clean base, you don't want to go too over the top with such a statement look. I just swept some concealer over the lid to correct some purple-y tones I'm blessed with. Next I used this Rimmel London Waterproof Eye Definer in Aqua Sparkle. I got this on a whim when I was about 13 and have never used it. At least I've found a use for it now :)
I applied the liner on my tight line and water line just to add a simple, flattering pop of colour which really flatters my blue eyes. If you have green or brown eyes I'd recommend using a navy eyeliner instead. 
Then I just applied TONS of mascara and tada! Wearable blue eyes that are bang on trend.

    Gorgeous! Normally I'd shy away from pastel colors but I might actually try this one. Now all I have to do is get that eyeliner! Nice tutorial! xo
