A Little Update

Hey everyone :)

Just wanted to write a little post to say hello to my followers (and also to any newcomers - hi!) and to let you know what's going on.

As you may have noticed, I have changed my template. COMPLETELY. I felt like I wanted to make my blog more unique and modern, and this template stood out from the others. Let me know what you think down below!

I know there's been a lack of posts recently because I've been so overcome with exams and coursework deadlines, and blogging has actually become a little break for me when I cannot take anymore. It just helps me to relax and it's nice putting all my thoughts somewhere I can keep them :) Buuuuut, my last exam is on Monday and after that I am free to blog to my heart's content! Yay!

I'm going to Rome next week and Prom is three days after I get back, so there'll be plenty of posts on here. Are there any posts in particular you'd like me to do? I need ideas!

Lastly, I really want to do a collab with another blog sometime soon. I think it'd be a great way to meet other bloggers and help eachother gain a few more followers. So, if you run a blog similar to mine and would like to do a little collab sometime soon, let me know either down below or tweet me at @amycaryswatts_x . I think it would be really fun :)

Sorry for the ramble! Just wanted to let you guys know about a few things and take a break from learning about quadratic equations.. I'm sure you understand :)

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 'On and On Bronze' | Review

Hey everyone :)

Today I'm going to try something new; I'm going to do a review but with a little more structure so it's easy for you all to find the information you want as quickly and efficiently as you want. Following? Good :)

Back to the product, I've recently been trying to find a cream eyeshadow that would look great for Prom in a few weeks. I wanted something that was easy to apply but lasted all night, and after seeing so many people rave about this little pot I had to give the Maybelline Colour Tattoo a try.

FORMULA

 The formula is very creamy and glides on very smoothly. 

 FINISH

This particular  shade, On and On Bronze, has a shimmery and iridescent finish which I just love. It really brings out my blue eyes and is great for day and night looks.

PIGMENTATION

The pigmentation - WOW. I had heard people raving about this factor in particular and I completely understand why. All you need is to dab your finger in once and it gives amazing colour pay off. I know this is going to last me a very long time.

PACKAGING

I always love glass packaging - it makes a product seem instantly more special. I also like the simple design and that you are able to see the shade (this is useful when you collect a few of them).

APPLICATION 

This is the only downfall for me. I'm a bit of a rookie when it comes to eyeshadows and whenever I apply this it always seems to look a bit messy. It's probably because I'm so clumsy, but I think practice makes perfect with these kinds of products.

PRICE

I think this is amazing for only £4.99. Considering the Mac paint pots are around £10 more expensive, I think these are great dupes. 

So overall, I really like this product; the pigmentation is great, the colour is flattering and it's a great bargain. I would definitely recommend it and am considering getting some more colours. Any recommendations? :)
